What types of dental crowns are available?

There are many types of crowns available, and each has individual properties.

How long will a crown last?

With a robust oral hygiene routine and a lack of destructive habits, a crown should last 5-10 years.

How is a crown prepared?

You will need two appointments to complete treatment for a crown. The first appointment is to carefully shape the natural tooth to make space for the new crown. During this appointment, you will have a temporary crown fitted for comfort and aesthetics.

During your second appointment, you will have the crown fitted. Before fitting, we will always check that you are happy with the appearance and bite. Crowns are fitted using a strong dental adhesive, and you will be able to leave with a comfortable, protected tooth.
