I visited the practice last Friday afternoon and had a really positive experience with Dr Elle.I needed a filling in one of my molars, which also had a crack, and Dr Elle took great care and time to repair my tooth. She was incredibly patient, gentle and attentive throughout the treatment.I could really feel her passion for her work and her genuine care for her patients. She was so thorough and took great care to make sure everything was done properly and that I felt comfortable throughout the procedure.Dr Elle is a wonderful dentist who is not only professional but also very caring and patient. I truly appreciate her dedication, kindness and attention to detail. I’m very grateful for the excellent care she provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist who genuinely cares about their patients.Thank you, Dr Elle, for your patience and for taking such good care of my tooth!

Sharp operation, appointment attended on time.with a quick consultation with a young and friendly & professional dentist and colleague. Estimate for required work provided and dates available pretty soon. Dentist costs wherever you go in the UK are ridiculously high so you have to just suck it up and hopefully find a good practice to complete the work required.

I have always been terrified of going to the dentist however my fear has completely gone away the dentists are amazing the dental nurses are amazing so kind considerate of your fears hold your hand just fabulous and abouve all not forgetting the amazing receptionists they are the 1st ones you see when you walk through the door and they are amazing so kind considerate just amazing make you feel so welcome from the second you walk through the doors they have a laugh with you them girls would cry with you if you were upset or in pain I'm sure of it just lovely kind honest beautiful girlsSo I would like to thank you all for the kindness you have all shown me over the years just genuine and the best dentist clinic to ever go too I would recommend anyone to go here wether your nhs or private as you will never get a better dental clinic than this one and that is my honest opinionSO THANKYOU TO ALL OF THE STAFF FOR THE DEDICATION YOU ALL SHOW TO YOUR PATIENTS XXX

I had a great experience, as much as you can at a dental practice, and would recommend this practice to anyone, especially in emergencies. I had an emergency dental appointment the day after experiencing, what I'd say was the most unbearable dental pain I've ever had. At the appointment, the dentist listened while I explained what I was experiencing, she did a thorough assessment including an x-ray of the problem area then clearly explained what was happening and the options to sort the issue. It was a private appointment, but the dentist didn't push the most expensive option as the right way to go, she allowed me to make my own informed decision after outlining the pros and cons of all options. I decided on a tooth extraction and the procedure was done there and then with care and ease, the dentist and dental assistant were very calming and reassuring all the way through, explained what was happening and kept me relaxed and distracted as much as they could. From walking in to leaving with 2 less teeth, it was less than 30 minutes. Everyone was friendly and again I would recommend to anyone.Thank you for your quick treatment but up most care for a very nervous patient.

I received excellent care when the surgery was Clayton and Scott, but after it was bought out or rebranded, although the reception and admin staff were still very helpful and friendly, the actual dental care and advice was awful. Since my Dentist has changed to Dr Ali, it has been like night and day and a return to previous form! He provides thorough explanations of all options for a specific issue and possible outcomes etc. He comes across to patients as personable, highly knowledgeable and his relaxed attitude would put nervous patients at ease... I could have dozed off during a composite 'filling' if my "gob" had been mechanically jarred open!I was thrilled with the end result of both the restoration of my tooth and of my faith in dental care. If you have to be seen by a dentist then this is the place to go. Everyone is really friendly and professional. Big shout out to my dentist Tina and dental nurse Hannah. They are both amazing. Whilst I don’t particularly enjoy visits to the dentist I don’t dread them either. That’s a huge plus for me. Thanks guys!

Had an emergency appointment here too remove a broken tooth the dentist who saw me was such a lovely lady , very caring and made sure i was ok . My appointment was very quick and efficient. I booked a time slot on Sunday morning and arrived right on time for emergency care. The kind dentist quickly identified the problem, gave me a diagnosis, prescribed antibiotics, and that was it! I only paid for the emergency visit, so I’m not sure about the regular prices, but the staff were all very nice and professional. Unfortunately, I’ll have to visit my regular dentist tomorrow to say a sad goodbye to my tooth!

I managed to get an appointment with Stephen for a failed wisdom tooth extraction that my own dentist had done. He was AMAZING! After thinking that I would need my gum cut and stitched Stephen had the tooth out in a couple of minutes with no further damage. I can't thank him enough after weeks of pain 😁

My teeth started breaking down when I was in school- I had my first root canal at 17ish. I have spent easily 10k keeping the teeth I have in my mouth in place. I am terrified of the dentist. The folks at this dentist are super great and super nice. They are great. Yes I’m still terrified anytime I’m at the dentist but they are super cool about it and do a good job of helping me take care of my teeth. I see Khadijah Khaled and she is fantastic.

As someone who had childhood dental trauma, this is THE best place to go. Been to see Stephen Porter today for a wisdom tooth extraction. I've been terrified of having this done and nearly cancelled due to fear. I've stressed for nothing. The injections didn't hurt, the extraction didn't hurt and everything was over in a couple of minutes. I feel ridiculous for worrying about it. I actually nearly cried with the relief when he told me the tooth was out.Everything was explained in detail beforehand too.Thanks again x

I went in for the first time due to a toothache and I was taken in very quickly, even without a prior appointment. Everyone, including the dentist that examined me was very polite and friendly. Two weeks later I went in again, again without appointment, and I got the same treatment. I appreciate this as things like this make life easier and my tooth issue much more bearable.I recommend this clinic very much.

Just home from the fitting of 4 crowns replacing my 4 upper front teeth - 2 of which were filled & the other 2 were old loose crowns. Alongside home whitening this has transformed my smile so I am really pleased with the outcome - Stephen Porter & his team including the dental technicians who made the crowns have done a great job. Highly recommended & not as expensive as I had anticipated….

Nobody likes going to the dentist right? That said, I can't recommend the practice more highly. First off, a massive thank you to the dentist Qaseem Hussain (sorry if the spelling is off!). He was brilliant from the first consultation to the treatment itself. He extracted my tooth without me even realising he'd done it! Literally didn't feel a thing!!The pricing was transparent and no pressure selling. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and I would happily recommend to others.

UPDATED REVIEWThis dental practice is good, but as you can see from my original review below, I was initially more than a little disappointed by an apparent overcharge. (Emphasis on word "apparent")In my opinion the pricing structure advertised on the Emerdency website is very misleading. If you book any appointment through Emerdency for this or any other dental practice, please assume that you will require "advanced" £120 treatment, even if it's not an extraction or root canal treatment. Please ignore the £40 price band completely. If you happen to get a £40 treatment, enjoy the saving as a bonus, and maybe donate it to Charity, or give it to me.Ultimately I paid the going rate for the treatment I received, it didn't go quite right at first, but they went out of their way put it right, and I truly appreciate that.Why not 5 stars? Well, they're using a booking agent with a misleading website, and they arguably should've taken that into account when explaining the price of proposed treatment to me. Some stress could have easily been avoided.Finally, having returned to the practice again today, I can report that the receptionist is still lovely.ORIGINAL REVIEWThe booking process through Emerdency was excellent and the charges clearly shown. £49 booking and consultation fee, and then a treatment fee of either £40 or £120 for advanced treatments such as extractions or root canal treatments.In my case my tooth was chipped at the front, and I needed a cosmetic filling taking 5 minutes, for which I was charged the higher advanced fee of £120. I have contacted Emerdency and hopefully this can be rectified swiftly, with the £80 overcharge refunded. I'll update this review appropriately.Receptionist was pleasant.UPDATE 1: The cosmetic filling crumbled after less than 48 hours, so the situation is infinitely worse. I'm trying to remain hopeful they'll do the decent thing and sort this mess out quickly. I have an important appointment to attend.UPDATE 2: The reason for the £120 charge was apparently because they gave me a "permanent" filling and not the "semi-permanent" (AKA temporary) one described on the Emerdency website. So, this could be a case of somewhat unclear advertising on the Emerdency website, and poor communication from the surgery. Some research reveals that the typical private cost of a permanent filling ranges from £80 to £120.UPDATE 3: Another dentist at the surgery is going to try to fix my tooth today, it looks like I'll miss my appointment, but in fairness he did his best. He has suggested it won't be the 5 minute treatment I had before, so maybe there's some more stars coming here.

If I could rate more stars I would. I had an urgent issue that needed to be seen to and Dr Stephen Porter was absolutely fantastic. I hadn't been to the dentist since I was at school (left at 16 and am 35 now). I was so embarrassed, ashamed and scared about the state of my teeth and he was so professional, kind and so outgoing. Especially when I needed a tooth to be removed and I explained I have a needle phobia. Not only did I not feel a thing but he made sure I was okay every step of the way and was re assuring me the whole time.If I had a dentist like him years ago I wouldn't have been so afraid to see him. I'm registering my daughter to see him as with someone like him dealing with her she will have no fear and will grow up with a beautiful smile.Thank you so much Stephen.

The staff in this centre is Lovely! Everybody is very professional and can put you at ease if you have any concerns.I would really recommend this place for any dental issues that you have!

I had 2 extractions first thing at 8:30am. Dr Porter made sure I was 100% comfortable and happy before taking the teeth out. I felt absolutely nothing. CANNOT put into words how appreciative I am of him and taking extra time and care to make sure I was ready and happy to go ahead with the extraction. Highly recommend this dentist.DR. P YOU THE MAN

Dr Khan and Ania were fabulous- it was an emergency appointment so I had to take my 6 year old as well as my newborn with me. The staff were kind and caring towards all of us.Treatment was explained and next steps for my own dentist we’re discussedAlso I would if happily agreed to lose the tooth to stop the pain but that wasn’t necessaryThanks again - highly recommend Dr khan and Ania

The dentist Stephen Porter has a fantastic way of making you comfortable. It has been many years since I had been to the dentist. Dr Porter was efficient and knowledgeable. Offering great advise which I have followed. The receptionist was welcoming and all the staff seem happy, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

Absolutely brilliant service. After suffering fear of the dentist since childhood I finally have a dentist who understands how a previous bad experience can impact on the anxiety of going to the dentist. I was shown understanding, patience and everything was explained to mein detail. The reception team and the dental nurses were all very professional. I would highly recommend.

I managed to get a next day emergency slot and went in to have a broken tooth looked at, I was prescribed antibiotics to clear an infection before returning just over a week later when I had to have a molar tooth extracted. I couldn’t have asked for a more patient and understanding dentist (an extraction specialist) who kept me well informed and at ease (as much as is possible for such a nervy customer) throughout the whole procedure, which was over with in a surprisingly short time and in as little discomfort as I could have ever imagined. Would highly recommend this practice if you need to have any dental work done, particularly if you’re nervous or have phobias about such things. Excellent service.

What a lovely experience I had today . After searching around to find a dentist to assist me with chronic tooth ache , lovely lane dental practice came to my rescue, I had to have a tooth extracted and Steve the dental technician and his assistant made it so enjoyable and pleasant and managed to see me the same day 🙏🏻they are knowledgeable and professional and so lovely to deal with , I have also decided to join the membership scheme to keep good care of my teeth, we also spoke about a teeth straightening plan , that I am so excited about .5 Star practice well done to everyone at lovely lane dental practice. Welcoming reception staff. Dr Porter is the best Dentist I have ever had. He is so calming and reassuring during every bit of my treatment. My Son has a really bad gag reflex after choking as a young child, Dr Porter is absolutely brilliant with him. I went in for advice on my baby incisor tooth which has remained all of my life after an operation to remove the big tooth in my gum. That was 1989! Dr Stephen Porter was excellent from the start. He advised against removing the tooth because after scans the roots were strong. Instead I had the existing tooth built up with composite filling at a fraction of the price. The end result is superb and I have a normal smile for the first time in my adult life. Thank You.

I managed to get an emergency appointment the day after calling, saw a very nice, young dentist who did X-rays and found a filling was needed. Being in an extreme amount of pain, he agreed to come in early the following day to carry out the treatment. Granted, I had to pay to go private for the treatment but the staff on reception, the dentist and his nurse went out of their way to carry out the treatment needed and I can’t thank them enough. Very helpful and professional staff.

What can I say excellent dentist lovely staff, met Mr Porter at Warrington Hospital when having a tooth removed, after my previous dentist made a mess of it, Mr Porter made me feel at ease explained everything to me, so after that I joined his practice and have never looked back, his work is 100% knows how to talk to patients, I myself have just had some work done and couldn’t be any happier, even my partner and family have joined his practice.

My daughter had her for tooth extraction and the lady dentist (sorry I forgot her name) was really good. She reassured my daughter and explained all the process to her stage by stage. My daughter was nervous but said afterwards that it wasn’t so bad since she was made very comfortable for the procedure. I will get the dentist name next time

First time seeing a dentist after several years, I suffer with PTSD and am terrified of medical settings and have a needle and blood phobia. Mr Porter discussed all of concerns before the work and brought me back to do the work, he was so calming and understanding it really put me at ease. I had a few needles and didn't feel a thing. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone with phobias. Nurses were excellent as well made me feel relaxed and reception are very helpful and professional.

After 10 years of dental phobia.. I was petrified of seeing anyone or having anyone see or be in mouth... I cried before I even sat in the chair the 1st time which was just a little look and antibiotics but even then to go back and actuallyturn up for an extraction was somethingI didn't think I would ever do!... I have the extraction last week I was shaking from head to toe in the chair and very nearly said just leave it!! But again I was greeted with such calmness and reassurance that It done even as a nightmare of a patient shaking and panicking... it was not a problem for him way so ever... it was the best dental experience even under the circumstances and I cannot recommend them enough! Due back in 2 weeks and im actually looking forward to it for more pain free work!!! Thank you guys so much for your patience and your amazing work... I look forward to my smile ive been waiting years for!!

Dr Porter has been my dentist for over 25 years. He understands my anxieties concerning any dental treatments that I need. Have visited the dental surgery on a couple of occasions. I would highly recommend this dental surgery. If you are looking for a dentist surgery I would highly recommend Clayton and Scott. I hadn't been to the dentist in 14 years due to fear, I broke a wisdom tooth and knew I had to have it removed. Steve the Dentist honestly made me feel calm, he explained everything and was as gentle as he could be. Now I've had a few procedures and do not fear as much as I used too!I cannot stress how lovely the staff are also and make you feel welcome.
