The type of crown you require will be discussed with you as part of your bespoke treatment plan.
With a robust oral hygiene routine and a lack of destructive habits, a crown should last 5-10 years.
You will need two appointments to complete treatment for a crown. The first appointment is to carefully shape the natural tooth to make space for the new crown. During this appointment, you will have a temporary crown fitted for comfort and aesthetics.
During your second appointment, you will have the crown fitted. Before fitting, we will always check that you are happy with the appearance and bite. Crowns are fitted using a strong dental adhesive, and you will be able to leave with a comfortable, protected tooth.Back to treatments
