Khadija qualified from The University of Manchester in 2019 with Honours, receiving a certificate for the highest overall performance in the 5 years of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery programme for her year group. Following completion of her Dental Foundation Training, she worked as an Oral and Maxillofacial Senior House Officer (SHO) in a number of hospitals across Manchester including Manchester Royal Infirmary, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Salford Royal Foundation Trust and Trafford General Hospital. During her time as an SHO, she was involved in numerous minor oral surgery clinics including conducting biopsy lists independently. Her interest in oral surgery lead to her presenting a poster at the British Association of Oral Surgery Conference in 2018 and a case report at the European Association for Cranio Maxillofacial Surgery in 2021. In addition to this, she has a wide range of other interests including providing composite bonding and Invisalign treatment. Khadija is dedicated to gaining and sharing knowledge and published an article on Paediatric Dentistry in Dental Update as an undergraduate student. Khadija is bilingual, being proficient at both English and Arabic. Khadija is a keen traveller and enjoys exploring new places in her free time.
