I attended the Avenue Dental care centre at leigh today and i am absolutely blown away by the care i have recieved today .. from the moment i arrived the receptionist was so professional, attended to me straight away ... sat there for a few minutes and honestly all the fear and dred of all the months i have been waiting to have my stubborn root canal removed vanished in hearing the nurse Sarah come from round a corner with the most beautiful smile ,shout my name was so helpful and took in to the dental room and meet the dentist Emma who explained everything to me like a itinerary of what was going to happen and i felt so safe in Sarah and Emma professional and empathetic discussions yet so heartfelt and so understanding yet so focused on their profession xx Tooth removal done so efficiently and with great compassion and care xxx the aftercare was explained so well by Emma and the experience was first class.Ive had private health care before but these two are the absolute best of the professionals and i thank you both truly xxx 💞💞💞🙌🙌

I was referred here by my own dental practice as they couldn’t do the extraction. I was very nervous as I haven’t been in this dental surgery for about 30 years and had severe anxiety due to past experiences that myself and other members of family had here previously. Staff were pleasant on arrival, I didn’t have to wait past my appointment time and when I went into the room with the dentist (Emma) she explained everything that I needed to know about the procedure and the aftercare. Overall I was very pleased with how it all went

Fantastic,put at ease straight away. No pain, everything explained to you. What you had done n explained how to care after.Sarah was a brilliant nurse,she was very friendly and was very good at putting you at easeI must say it was more like a social event that you went to rather than a dentist. The dentist herself was really nice,I didn't know she had removed the tooth. Overall excellent from start to finish

I had a root removal yesterday by Yasin and would like to express my sincere thanks for what initially felt like a very daunting prospect.The care I received was wonderful from both the dentist and his lovely dental nurse. They were incredibly empathetic and caring, and took the time to fully explain the procedure beforehand, which really helped put me at ease.Everything was delivered with great professionalism, and I truly appreciate the support and reassurance I was given throughout.

Where do I start. Reception staff are just so inviting and helpful even when they are clearly juggling a busy schedule. First time being in AU Dental and I cannot praise them enough. Emma is an exceptional practitioner (unfortunately missed the nurses name from my first visit and today) but how lovely they are, Emma was so attentive she listened to what I said and really focused on her job without being rude or passive, it’s hard to get good beside manor these days (sounding old) it’s refreshing, I then had some minor complications and I called the practice a week after my extraction (which I will get too) and I was asked to come in straight away the next morning no problem at all, again very lovely soon as they opened the door. Seen Emma and the nurse again and honestly they spoke to me involved me in what was happening I am nervous (as a lot of us are) at the dentist, but when I say professional and relaxed that what they are absolute credits to the surgery, I cannot recommend Emma enough I was gutted when she told me she was the surgeon would have loved her as our family dentist! I unfortunately had to return back as the pain was not going away. Emma and a new nurse that was working with her (also very lovely!!) they were so efficient focused and professional but at the same time relaxed and friendly, Emma did an X-ray to double check and reassured me all as well! The surgery it’s self again absolutely amazing as far as it can be getting teeth pulled isn’t exactly on my bucket list! But I have been waiting for someone to take my wisdom tooth out for nearly 12 years no one would touch it, Emma ?! Had it gone like it was nothing!! No pain thoroughly numbed up before stating checked before proceeding. Just fantastic! (An I have seen my fare share of dentist). I have signed myself and my son up with this dentist. Highly recommend!!

Can be pricey however expected for private. The dentist I met with was lovely and you feel instantly welcomed. Especially with someone with anxiety they speak to you with no judgement as well explain everything thoroughly so you understand.

I have a dentist phobia due to childhood trauma however I attended this practise as an emergency. I phoned them up to enquire about the waiting list but the lady on the phone ended up booking me in for the next week! Upon arrival I had less than 5 minutes to wait before I was seen and I cannot express enough about how amazing I was treated. The dentist and nurse really calmed me down and kept my anxiety at bay. They explained the process in detail throughout and were extremely reassuring. I have now enquired for a space to be a future patient there. Fantastic!! Thank you so much! x

I had a tooth extraction today. The two ladies that were there for the procedure were very nice, they put me at ease and we had a good laugh. Anaesthetic is now wearing off so it’s a bit sore which is what to be expected. The dentist gave me advice to follow, a leaflet and some gauze for the bleeding. Doing well up to now

I was greeted really well by Emma, who put me at ease really well, before my procedure. I was nervous but soon relaxed, chatting and laughing with them both.Sarah then extracted my tooth, talking through the procedure as she did this. I was so impressed as I didn’t feel much pain at all.Sarah then explained to me, my after care.Thank you very much to you both.

Been to dental clinic this afternoon for extraction. Arrived early to find my appointment was actually Wednesday 26th not today. Dentist fit me in no problem. There was a misunderstanding during phone call yesterday. Staff accommodating & very pleasant. Would highly recommend this clinic. Brilliant.

Once I found a parking spot,(used the Asda across the road) The receptionist booked me in and in a short space of time I was called in. Unsure of the young mans name who carried out the root removal, but he and his two assistants were first rate. I would recommend this practice to all. Top class care and attention.

Had been referred for a tooth extraction and from the minute I arrived the dental nurse, Sarah, was absolutely lovely and really put me at ease from the minute I stepped in from the minute I went home. The dentists and the staff are very welcoming and down to earth from the very second you walk through the door. Very quick procedure and made me and my mum, who was with me at the time, feel so comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone.

I recently had 3 teeth removed two of which were wisdom teeth. I was a bit nervous but was made to feel relaxed straight away. I was talked through the procedure and the after care. The whole procedure took around 25 minutes, I couldn't believe how quickly it was all done. I would definitely recommend Avenue Dental Centre.

I was very satisfied with every aspect of Leighs Dental care right from the offset.I initially was told my appointment would not be until next year but when I contacted them explaining the pain I was in they were able to prioritise me on the waiting list.I was theb contacted with a much quicker appointment time.On the day itself the reception staff were helpful and the dentist was super friendly, professional, put me right at ease through her conduct and knowledge in the subject area.The extraction which is no doubt one of most painful dental procedures was carried out quickly and to a high standard leaving no remains.I am very grateful to the whole team and would happily return if needs be.

I was referred here by my dentist for an extraction of a tooth that had broken at the gum line, as my usual dentist felt it was too complex to do herself. I usually get anxious during dentist visits but the dentist and dental nurse were both so friendly that I was immediately at ease. They had my tooth out in seconds and I didn’t feel any pain. They also explained after care very clearly. I would highly recommend them.

Extraction of tooth at the Avenue Dental Centre Leigh.Extremely professional reassuring me as I felt very anxious,checking my details at the same time positioning me on the chair,safety glasses given by lovely assistant.My first injection into the gum seemed to happen without me noticing.As this extraction was a large back tooth the second injection was painful just for a moment .I was told what was happening at each stage ,no pain just the noise of the tooth cracking was a wierd feeling and the assistant held my hand .Before I had time to think it' was done.I felt such a baby ,I was very thankful and relieved ,I was given verbal instructions on aftercare and also a written sheet with some cotton pads .ThankyouGreat teamwork

Dr. Emma Nicholson & Sarah are absolutely incredible! I was really nervous about getting my tooth extracted, but the staff was so friendly and welcoming that my worries immediately went away.They took the time to explain every step of the process, which made me feel comfortable and prepared.The procedure itself was quick and painless, and they gave me clear, easy-to-follow aftercare instructions that made my recovery a breeze. Excellent service. Had wisdom tooth out here yesterday as I wanted to be sedated as I'm very anxious. My own dentist referred me here. From arriving to leaving the service was excellent. They were all very caring and reassuring as I was very nervous before the procedure. I did not feel a thing, I can't believe how easy and quick it took. I would definitely come back here again and if anyone is anxious then I would definitely recommend coming here. Amazing staff. Thank you so much.

I was referred to the Avenue Dentist facility to have a tooth extracted this morning , I wasn’t looking forward to it but I was immediately put at ease by Emma the dentist and her assistant Sarah who explained calmly what the procedure would involve. After 15 minutes in the chair mission accomplished without any pain or discomfort which I was really pleased about obviously.I cannot thank them enough for making an experience that I was stressing about prior to my visit, something that I didn’t really need to and restoring my faith in NHS dentistry.Thank you very much ladies for looking after me.

Really impressed with my experience. I am a nervous customer and everything was explained carefully and in normal jargon that I could understand. Imania has such a gentle, calm professional nature that I was put straight at ease and I loved the fact that all parts of the examination were explained so I felt like I was part of the examination rather than just a product. Also, a small detail that she had obviously read my previous medical history and was able to recite this to me rather than asking again for it. Really happy with everything

recently had a difficult experience at another dental clinic during a wisdom tooth extraction — it was so bad I won’t even mention the name. Not all of the tooth could be removed, and I was referred to Avenue Dental Clinic. Honestly, I was terrified. Based on what I’d just gone through, I expected the worst.But everything changed the moment I met the doctor at Avenue. They were incredibly patient, calm, and clearly experienced. Their gentle approach put me at ease, and before I knew it — it was over. I couldn’t believe it. I actually started crying… but this time, they were tears of joy.I never imagined a dental experience could be this smooth after what I had gone through. I’m beyond grateful. Thank you to the team at Avenue Dental Clinic!

Friendly comfortable reception. Treated by Emma and her assistant (sorry I didn't catch her name). Really relaxed and friendly which reflects on the patient. A tooth that was a challenge for my own dentist was tackled effortlessly in a couple of minutes by Emma. I'd go back here in a heartbeat

Taken in before my appointment time.The dental surgeon was polite, reassuring and delivered the local anaesthetic prior to the extraction with minimal discomfort.I had forgotten my glasses and couldn't see the small print on the I pad before adding my signature to the consent form. The Dental Surgeon again, very kindly read out the form to me as I didn't want to sign something that I hadn't read.The procedure of removing the tooth ( part of the tooth) was quick. Minimal bleeding after extraction. I just took painkillers before I went to bed and the day after twice.As pleasant an experience as you could have when a tooth is being removed!I was under the impression that I had been referred for sedation and extraction but it was a local anaesthetic and extraction. When I queried this both the Dental Surgeon and Dental Nurse rechecked the referral which was just for a local anaesthetic and explained the reasoning behind it and if the Dental Surgeon thought that I needed sedation he would have assessed me and rebooked me for sedation.Very pleased with the professional treatment from the Dental Surgeon.The only thing I would say was that although the Dental Surgeon 's name was on a small poster ( which I cannot remember!!) was that the staff didn't introduce their selves, which I always think is a good way to start a consultation/treatment

Referred by NHS dentist for molar extraction.I arrived early and was seen 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled appointment. The oral surgeon explained everything and the removal was perfect as the tooth came out in one piece. Very swift appointment. Was sent home with appropriate advice on aftercare. 10/10 would attend this practice again.

NHS referral for oral surgery, 3 extractions.To say i was nervous is an understatement.I didn't need to worry. I couldn't fault the care I received.I was put at ease and looked after from the minute I entered the room. Both the dental surgeon and her dental nurse were amazing. My 3yo and 2yo see Dr. Noreena Ali, and she is absolutely wonderful. She's a real sweetheart and incredibly gentle and patient with young children. She made both of my little ones feel calm and comfortable, no tears, just smiles! So grateful to have found a dentist who truly understands and cares for kids. Highly recommend her

As i arrived at the dentist, I was welcomed and checked in straight away. There was no delays in being seeing by the dentist and she got straight to the point, explain possible complications, explained to me what and how she will do this.She was very delicate with the numbing and removal of my wisdom tooth.She went into great amount of detail of after care.The visit was very welcoming, was at ease and they did their best to make sure I was comfortable.Thank you Avenue dental centre

After a previous unpleasant experience in a different dentist my anxiety levels were significantly raised, before my wisdom tooth extraction. The dentist and the practitioner were amazing at calming my nerves, the procedure was quick and as soon as the dentist sensed I was uncomfortable she was quick to stop and adjust the treatment. What I expected to be a lengthy and difficult procedure actually turned out to be a painless extraction which took just a few minutes. Amazing service!From being referred by my dentist to actually having my tooth removed was only a week. After I received a notification to say I’d been referred to this place, I rang to get advice due to the pain I was in and to book an appointment asap. The lovely, helpful receptionist managed to get me an appointment for the next day 😁 and gave me great advice. All staff were very professional and friendly especially the dental assistant (sorry I didn’t get her name) who put me at ease, made me laugh and gave me clear instructions on my aftercare. Was concerned about going to the Avenue Dental practice after being referred there by my own Dentist due to a “ crooked “ root on a tooth that needed to be taken outI was very anxious and worried incase they weren’t as Gentle and Patient with me as my normal practiseDid not need to of been worried at all !!!!YAS the Dentist was very Welcoming and had a Friendly Cheery manner which put me at ease .Plus He was very patient and understanding throughout the extraction which really helped meSarah the Nurse was also Friendly and Chatty and explained everything perfectly too me and didn’t rush me or anythingBoth of these Staff made an Anxious experience a Pleasurable one and I left with a Big Smile plus if I was ever referred there again in the future I would have no concerns

Was referred here by my usual dentist for a difficult extraction. I am a very nervous patient at the best of times so add the fact that it wasn't my usual dentist and a difficult extraction my anxiety was through the roof but the staff were so nice and friendly it made me feel more at ease. The tooth really did not want to budge but they talked me through everything that was happening and got it out eventually and even though it was a difficult extraction i walked in and out in about 20 minutes. Thank you to all the staff your friendly manor really made all the difference 😊

I was referred here for a wisdom tooth extraction. I would like to say thank you to both Emma & Sarah for making the experience as positive as possible. The extraction turned out to be a difficult one and they were amazing at keeping my usual anxious self very calm and talking me through exactly what they were doing. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. They were very friendly and it was clear to see they work well together. If I lived closer I would definitely move dentists!

I booked an appointment at The Avenue for a tooth extraction after a failed attempt by my own dentist 2 days ago. I was really nervous and traumatised after my experience at my dentist because they hadn't numbed me properly. I had an appointment with Emma and she got my tooth out in about 20 seconds. Was completely amazed. No pain at all. Completely numb. I would definitely recommend this dental surgery to anyone who is nervous. All staff from Wendy on reception to Emma in surgery were so reassuring and lovely. Thank you so much for calming me down 😃

I was referred to the Avenue to have surgery privately due to suffering from a recent throat surgery that was quite traumatic causing me to be very anxious about my mouth. I was booked in with Imania, she was so lovely and respectful in every appointment. Sadly I couldn’t say I got that treatment from my own NHS dentist. Receptionist were lovely and get appointments very quickly.

Top class dentist with really friendly staff, had a lot of work done and didn't even know a thing until I woke up later that day, got told a few things that gave everyone a laugh at my expense but would recommend these to everyone, absolutely fantastic the lot of them, really friendly and made me relax which never happens when I'm at a dentist, starting to restore my faith that not all dentists are butchers so really really appreciate everything they have done for me, Thank you all, have. Arrived early and seen early it’s my second visit to this Dentist being referred far better than my own who only want quick easy appointments. Staff Brilliant extractions whilst sore but not excessive due to being deep rooted. Just wish I could transfer but they are not NHS only Referral’s for complex procedures. Great Services offered should you wish to pay. Cheers

I had to have a tooth extraction and was so worried, nervous and upset as I have a very strong aversion to seeing a dentist cos of my anxiety. I was in the best hands though and was reassured throughout. The dentist and dental nurse were excellent so caring and considerate to my needs. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My appointment was at 9.20am, I arrived early at 8.48am, was seen at 8.56am and I was out for 9.07am. The ladies that did my extractions were lovely and took very good care of me as I've got a fear of the dentist due to a bad experience years ago. I would definitely recommend this surgery, both my kids go here and they've always been lovely to them.

Excellent, polite and friendly staff. I had an 'awkward' tooth out 😀 Emma and the dental nurse were brilliant with me. I was extremely nervous and I'm one of those people who are scared of visiting the dentist. They both kept reassuring me that I was going to be ok and explained every step of the way. I can't thank Emma enough for taking my tooth out and the dental nurse for letting me hold her hand 💕 I went in smiling and came out smiling. Had a tooth extraction this morning. It was my first visit to the Avenue DC. The recepionist were very pleasant and invited me to take a seat in the waiting area. My waiting time was at least a minute before I saw the dentist and her assistant. Both were very welcoming and explained the procedure thoroughly. The whole process lasted a few minutes.Thank you❤️

This place is fantastic from when you arrive at reception too the interaction with today the hygienist first , teeth clean. Secondly a filling with the Dentist , never had a needle in the gum before so she used numbing gell then a minute or two later the injection which I didn't feel at all. Drill fill & mouth rinse job done . Very slightly uncomfortable but that's to be expected . Great Dental Practise & Brilliant staff one & all . Thank you.

Was referred to the Avenue Dental Centre by my own dentist. It was for the extraction of a tooth that had snapped at the gum line so there was only the root left in. All the staff were really friendly and polite. I was under the care of Dr Adil who put my mind at ease straightaway. He had my tooth extracted in no time at all. Absolutely fantastic experience. I was referred to The Avenue Dental Centre by my own dentist to have a sedation to remove a molar. I get very anxious going to the dentist from having bad experiences in the past. As I sat in the chair, Dr Yasin was so calm and caring and explained each thing he was going to do. The procedure was over in less than 15 minutes and the two women in the room were amazing with me too.I can't fault this experience. I would definitely use this dentist again for future treatment regarding extractions.Thank you very much!

Signed up to the avenue back in march after reading the good reviews from others. I’ll be honest I haven’t visited the dentist since my teenage years as I am absolutely petrified, It took a lot of panic attacks, tears and sleepless nights to get me through the door for that initial appointment and I’ll say sarina and the dental assistant were lovely with me, very kind, calm and didn’t judge me like I feared. I’ve since had 2 fillings and a clean with sarina and the dental assistants and again they were very lovely, let me listen to my headphones because the noises scare me, they kept checking on me to make sure I was okay. I’m really happy to have found avenue dental. My overwhelming fear is still there but it has been eased slightly by the lovely people I’ve met. Thank you

I saw Dr Yas and I can only say that it's one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. He and the dental nurse helped me stay relaxed whilst they worked and talked me through each step. Had a lower wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr Yasin, I was very anxious going into it as I’d had no dental work done previously and was booked for just numbing but Dr Yasin was a very calming presence, I was numbed with no pain and the tooth removed totally pain free within 3 minutes. Great service for a very busy practice, my original appointment was for 1230, I got a phone call asking, can I come in half an hour early? from the minute I walked in the door there was a queue i’ll be waiting about two minutes and one of the dentist came out to check if people had an appointment we were told to take a seat and within two minutes, I was in the room with the two dentist, both of them called Emma they double check who I was my medical conditions and the tooth which was to be taken out. Two pain free injections 4-8 minutes my tooth was out wet swab in my mouth, while my blood clotted And explained how to look My gum while it healed thank you Emma & Emma 👍🏼

Was referred here for a complex tooth extraction. As someone who is afraid of dentists and suffers with anxiety, i walked in super nervous, but, felt very at ease as soon as i was in the chair as the dentist and his assistant were lovely and talked through everything that was happening. The whole thing was over in 10 minutes and i didnt feel a thing!! Definitely my best experience with a dentist by far.

Great experience after being unable to find a dental practice taking NHS patients for 10 months. Saira my dentist put me at ease and diagnosed my problems quickly. A plan was put into place and my appointments made for treatment all within 30 mins. The dental nurse was very calming too (apologies I didn't catch your name). The receptionists were very welcoming and friendly from my initial call to booking my appointments. Overall a very positive experience. Blows away all the negative experiences I've had with previous dental practices. Thank you all!

I am petrified of the dentist after a bad experience years ago. The gentleman I saw along with his assistants were fantastic with me. I had opted to have sedation to minimise my anxiety and, for me that was the best option. Had a referral from my own dentist to have a wisdom tooth extracted. Asked to contact the surgery to make an appointment and I was offered one for the same day (which meant no time to think about things and get myself too nervous - I was terrified at the thought of having a tooth removed).Made to feel at ease, hardly felt the injections going in to numb the area and was informed I would feel a little shaky due to the adrenaline. Whilst doing the extraction I was being told what was happening step by step until it was done. I was told about the after care on what I should do when I got home along with a care leaflet on who I should contact if I have any problems with the bleeding etc. The treatment from start to finish was excellent.

I hadn't been to the dentist for sometime due to covid so was a bit apprehensive about going back. Making an appointment was easy and the reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. My new dentist Sarina and dental nurse Lucy were incredibly friendly and put me at ease. I would definitely recommend this dental practice.

I am 62 year's old and a visit to the dentist has never been a good experience but The Avenue changed that! I had to have 2 back teeth cut out and all the staff were so professional and super friendly and encouraging. I lost 2 teeth and gained 8 stitches and a new respect for the dentist. Thank you 😊

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The dental surgeon's put you at ease and excellent in the service they provide. Easily the best dentist I've been too in my 42years. Took my 4year old for his first check up after a little cry the staff made him feel at ease and did a amazing job. Full of smiles and stickers. I have just finished a course of treatment at the Avenue dental surgery and have nothing but praise for all the team. Very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating reception staff and dental nurses, make you feel extremely comfortable as soon as you arrive. My dentist was Rabia Aslam, absolutely outstanding. Professional, courteous, obviously a very caring person and is a full on perfectionist 😁 I cannot praise highly enough. Would recommend the surgery to anyone at the drop of a hat. It's a big yes from me!! 😁

I was referred for an extraction here. Reception staff were very helpful and efficient. Pre-procedure thorough, everything explained and appointment made.Come the day, a nervous patient, the Sedation Dentist was superb, put me at ease straight away. The sedation was started and the extraction done. I didn't feel any pain or discomfort, the next thing I knew it was all over. The attending staff were excellent as well. All in all it was a great team. It made for a much better experience than I could ever have hoped for and I would certainly recommend them.

I was referred by my own dentist to have my lower left wisdom tooth out .. I was so nervous but made to feel at ease.. everything was explained to me and after the local anaesthetic was in the tooth was out in no time the customer service is excellent, I would highly recommend this dentist and if I need anymore extractions this is the place I would want to be thank you to all the team 😊

Fantastic customer service.The dentist was great. Other dentists had refused to create a bridge for me but this young dentist did. And he did a fantastic job. Very patient and considerate. I would definately recommend this practice!

Been going here for many years now. Seen quite a few different dentists. Some retired or moved on etc. One constant throughout has been and indeed still is,is their professional manner and attention to detail. All the staff are polite and helpful. I consider myself lucky not only to have an NHS dentist these days, but to belong to a panel run by first class individuals.

I was referred by my dentist, I am very very anxious about dentists due to childhood trauma at the hands of the clinic dentist. I am amazed at the professionalism and empathy by the staff. I was put at ease straight away, they kind of got me, how I was feeling! My treatment was explained step by step, and it was virtually painless!! All the worry and anxiety for nothing! Everyone at this practice is so friendly and welcoming, from the reception staff to the dentists and dental nurses. I used to be really nervous of going to the dentist but since joining here 3 years ago I don't feel nervous at all and actually enjoy going.My children also love it here, my little girl had her first ever appointment here. Such a lovely, positive experience for them both, can't say enough good things. I'd highly recommend this practice.I've also had 2 crowns done here and it was such a great experience (never thought I'd say that about going to the dentist). It's something I've been putting off for years but felt confident enough here to go through with it. So glad I did. I’ve been a patient at the surgery for two years from the very first appointment staff were welcoming, helpful and put me at ease due to suffering from anxiety and negative previous experiences at another dentist! I have improved a lot and now have no fear/anxiety as well as improving my oral hygiene. Im a guide dog owner and staff are always helpful in accommodating us both! Could not recommend enough!

First time for me at this practice. Wendy (on reception)booked me in. I sat patiently for a few minutes and listened to the banter and laughter between Dawn and Wendy (Sissy and Ada)behind the reception whilst they were working away. They were so funny I thought I was in comedy central 😂.I had my treatment which was excellent. I needed to go back again and once more I was very professionally looked after. Nothing was too much trouble. I can thoroughly recommend this practice to anyone.Thank you so much.👍👍👍

First things first, my experience here was way better than 5 ⭐️ - 100% recommended 👍What an experience! So helpful, put me at ease, professional and we had a giggle...In short I had a wisdom tooth with an abscess, close to the nerve and seemingly not as straightforward for 2 other dentists who weren't confident with the extraction. So as you can imagine I was pretty anxious and not sleeping all that well! The dental surgeon (Emma) on the other hand took one look at the X-Ray, talked me through the procedure and whipped it out with absolutely NO pain what-so-ever and I made a full recovery that same day...She is ace!

As a person who has a very bad phobia about the dentist and my wife has to escort me due to a stroke my appointment was at 8.50 we got there just before and we knocked on the door and was met by one of the staff she showed us to a seat very polite young lady we waited a few minutes and was called in to a room and my wife was allowed in the 2 young ladies talked to me all the time and made me feel at home and I was very relaxed by the time they had taken 4 of my top teeth out I t was time to go they were that good I was thinking of asking if they had any room on the books for me to join I would highly recommend the practice to anyone who has the opportunity to go there please can you thank the 2 ladies for their support and being very helpful and kind and most of all for doing agreat job of removing the teeth I needed taken out I just can't believe the high standard and the kindness shown to me thanks best wishesMarc Stephens

I found this place by chance and so glad I did the 2 receptionist pulled out every stop to get me in as soon as possible and rang me with every cancellation that came very welcoming can’t recommend this dentist enough the dentist who extracted my wisdom tooth deserves a medal very good at the job in hand after nearly 2 years of dentists just taking my money but not actually doing anything because they said it was surgery but the dentist at the avenue had me in and out in 10 minutes and pain free thanks so much THE AVENUE DENTIST very happy customer 👍🏻👍🏻

My visit this morning to have two teeth extracted at The Avenue Dental Practice was amazing. I was not kept waiting long before being shown into the surgery, the dentist Emma and the nurse Megan introduced themselves and I was made to feel comfortable. Emma advised me at all times what was going on and the procedure was over and done without any problems. I would happily recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist. I would like to thank them very much for all they have done.

I’m a real nervous wreck when visiting, I was referred by my dentist for a wisdom tooth extraction, I can’t thank them enough! I was referred for sedation, not convinced I was sedated, however that really didn’t matter because the tooth was out before I could even question it! My blood pressure was through the roof on my first visit, massively improved on the day of the extraction, absolutely brilliant 🤩 the nurses the dentist 🦷 I can’t thank you enough, you were all brilliant and I thank you so much for being such caring friendly individuals, it’s clear to me that’s what your meant to be and you all shown that genuine compassion, very rare, thanks guys

I was referred from another practice to have a difficult tooth removed. Though a little apprehensive initially, I was left impressed with the friendly service from start to end. Had my upper left wisdom tooth out yesterday under sedation (apologies I can’t remember the names of the dentists in the room) but they made me feel so comfortable! They were singing along to smooth fm that defiantly helped relax me! The nicest dental experience I’ve ever had and easiest tooth extraction ever, thank you so much. I came across this Dentist when getting referred from another due to a treatment that needed doing by a specialist. It’s now my one and only Dentist! I decided to change Dentists the second time I went for my treatment as I just felt so welcomed.The receptionists are amazingly lovely - no job is too hard for them. I really don’t know how they juggle the phones, customers & answering the knocks on the door too! They are real life angels!Each time I’ve been to the dentist I’ve left feeling satisfied, knowing what the plan is for my next appointment & most importantly overall happy with my experience.Before I found this Dentist I was terrified! That feeling of the unknown and subconscious pain certainly is not there anymore; I’ve never felt so relaxed being in that ‘once was’ scary chair! Thank you Avenue Dentist 💜🦷🪥

This was my second visit to the Avenue Dental surgery and from start to finish the treatment I received was 5⭐️. I have had bad experiences at other dentist surgeries which made me apprehensive and anxious about receiving dental treatment, but all the staff and especially Rabia who carried out my dental treatment made the whole experience reassuring and I felt relaxed on each visit. It has replaced my faith in having dental treatment by all the staff who was brilliant from arriving and leaving the Avenue surgery, thanks and well done guys👍🏼

I was referred here for an extraction with sedation. Being extremely nervous of the dentist. I was terrified. There was no need. I cannot praise the dentist enough. He was marvellous with me. Everyone was so kind, helpful and calm. I did not feel anything, the tooth was out in minutes and it definately wasn't the ordeal I thought. Highly recommended.

She not only managed to squeeze me in an already busy clinic, but rang me back with a longer appointment when someone cancelled. I went to the Avenue dentist following a disastrous experience at a previous surgery. The practice was amazing. They are professional, talented and so good at putting you at ease. I am going through the implant process and the specialist has been fabulous. As a nervous patient I was amazed how confident I now feel in the hands of experts.

Outstanding service as always, called yesterday for an emergency appointment & was really fortunate to be offered an appointment today! Seen by my lovely new dentist who explained everything to me before completing the necessary treatment. The ladies on reception are wonderful & always put me at ease (VERY nervous dental patient!) - I would highly recommend this wonderful surgery, you won’t find better service & staff anywhere.

Attneded today for the first time since the pandemic. Had to wait outside for a short while but that wasn't an issue :-). I really like my dentist there, I've had a few, but this one has made me feel at ease the most! So thumbs up for that! Ladies on reception were lovely too, despite looking incredibly busy, they still were pleasant and helped me with my queries. The surgery looks great too. Having been going to the same building for at least 25 years, it's certainly been updated and looks miles better, it was strange having treatment done in a room that had been a waiting area forever 🙈

The reception area is light and airy and staff friendly and pleasant . I had a temporary filling a couple of weeks ago and was back for the permanent one. After discussing with the dentist he advised that as I had lost part of the tooth a metal filling wouldn’t attach so we decided to leave the temporary one as it is as it’s comfortable and wait till I get a problem. I hadn’t seen this dentist before but he listened to what I had to say and really felt like he had my best interest at heart and not attempting the fix whilst not viable . Excellent service .

From the moment I walked in the building, I was greeted by friendly staff. All safety precautions relating to Covid were followed. I was shown into the dentists room and was immediately greeted by the dentist, who introduced herself and her dental nurse. The relaxed atmosphere immediately put me at ease. I was attending for a wisdom tooth extraction, the dentist explained and made sure I fully understood the procedure. The actual extraction was over in minutes. It was a really pleasant experience. If I lived in Leigh, I would definitely join this surgery.

This was the first time I had used this surgery as it was a referral from my own practice for an extraction. The receptionist, Dawn, was delightful from my first contact and throughout my visit.
